Time Schedule – Along with a cost estimate, ask for a time line of when the work will be done. Then hold them to the schedule. Have a plan in place if the schedule needs to be adjusted. Do you want them to call or text you if they are going to be late?  Does this project need to be completed by a specific date due to other projects, out-of-town guests, listing your home etc? Let the service providers know ahead of time there is a deadline that must be met and why.
